Well done to the showing team, Cleopatra of Westoak scores a 9 for her attitude for eventing at the Solihul venue of the Futurity 2010. She is described as; lovely head, nice rangey horse, good walk, very loose, elegant mover, good ground coverage, confident and kind. She scores 8.68 overall and achieves a high first premium.

Wonalulu and her foal competed at Bramham on the 3rd June. Her foal Eldorado of Westoak came fourth in a strong youngstock class of eleven. Eldorado of Westoak is by Elroon. His dam is by Weltregent H. Well done to the showing team. E S photography even used Wonalulu's photograph as their exemplar for the day.

Westoak Hanoverian Stud

We have been breeding competition young stock since 1986. Our aim is to produce top quality stock for dressage competition, the show ring and show jumping arenas. Our broodmares are chosen for their temperaments and their performance records as well as their bloodlines. Recently our buyers have wanted an athletic eventing horse which we have just started to produce.
We have State Premium studbook mares, Elite mares, Elite candidate mares and Main stud book mares. All have full 4 generation pedigrees, Pink Papers and are branded Hanoverian. Our mares are graded with the German Verband, the British Hanoverian Horse Society and the British Warmblood breeders Association. Most of our mares are also performance tested. Over the last two years four of our broodmares have also been awarded Broodmare Diplomas from the British Equestrian Federation Futurity, for their Dressage filly foal, colt and two Year old filly Showjumper, achieving First Premiums.
The Stallions we have used for the 2010 crop of foals include Medoc, Del Ametri Elroon and Classic Juan. All our foals have pink papers, full passports and are branded with the BHHS or the German Verband. The yearlings anre by Classic Juan, Elroon and Medoc Our 2 year olds are by the stallions Elroon and Classic Juan,. Two 4 year olds by Medoc and Elroon

September 2010

Futurity final scores Carsten of Westoak is third in the eventing foal section of the Futurity for 2010. By Classic Juan out of a Select stud book mare Louise by Londonderry. He is also the 7th highest foal over all disciplines at the Futurity for 2010.

Westoak Rmolly achieved her first dressage point, at her very first affiliated show. (Photograph to follow). Tina and Westoak Rmolly were second in the Prelim open with 65.8%. In the Novice open the pair were third with 63.5%. Well done.

August 2010

The showing team competed at the British Warmblood Show at Hartpury College on Bank holiday Monday. They showed St Pr Boheme and her foal Deacon Blue. Deacon Blue won his foal class and was awarded a Premium foal rosette, as well as winning the class. St Pr Boheme came third in the broodmare class. A very sucessful day.

Westoak Mari Claims victory at her first outing. Westoak Mari competed in the Preliminary test at Field House equestrian centre scoring 66.96% at her first ever show. See our showing pages for photographs.

Westoak Magic Wins the youngstock class for over 14.2hh at Ashover show. Thanks to the showing team Westoak Magic brought home the Oliver Kirk memorial trophy and two huge rosettes. See show news for photographs.

Congratulations to Westoak Winston for a fanastic first dressage test on Saturday 26th June. Louise and Westoak Winston completed a Prelim 7 coming second with a score of 66%.

Westoak Dienstgeheimnis came second at Field house on 24th June 2010 in the Novice Qualifier.

Wilma foaled a chestnut filly by Elroon.

Eldorado of Westoak 4th at Bramham. Wonalulu and her foal travelled to Bramham horse trials on 3rd June. See our showing pages.
