Westoak Elaine at Addington 2011 ridden by Nathan Aston
Addington 2011 proved to be an outstanding year for the stud.
Two of the three year old horses we bred Merri of Westoak and Magic of Westoak came to the show with their owners for the Studbook Inspection. It was lovely to see them all grown up and starting their ridden careers.
We entered Elaine of Westoak and Classic Prada for the Performance test, in-hand class and the Materiale. Both three year olds were already Studbook inspected.
Elaine of Westoak just got better and better as the show went on and won the three year old Materiale class. See picture below, the last name on the cup being Woodlander Wavavoom! The judges commented on Elaine of Westoak that she was calm - she just soaked up the atmosphere and nothing phased her.
Thank you to Nathan Aston and Vicki Rayment for their hard work and ridding, also to Neil for his running and the Showing team from both Witcham and Westoak for keeping things running smoothly.
